David Zimmer, the District Governor attended and was recorded.  Here is A short video capturing what he told us about how Rotarians can and are responding to the difficulties caused by the coronaviris.  Sorry that the quality of the video leaves a bit to be desired.

Terrie is the committee chair at the Sun Lakes Rotary Club for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library project. This project provides free books every month to children from ages 0 to 5.  Her club has participated in this program since last May and is concentrating on the Guadalupe area.  The total cost per child from age 0 to 5 is $150. . Terrie's club would be interested in partnering with our club or helping us get started if we wanted to be on our own. The benefits of early childhood education have been well documented and this program is a great contributor to the goal of early learning. Terrie gave us many statistics, several of which are on the web site. There was much discussion and president Wally told Terrie our foundation will discuss this potential project at our next Foundation Meeting.
