DISTRICT GOVERNOR VISIT
October 1, 2024 - District Governor Michelle Holcomb visited the club. She gave us a brief update on several issues including specialized license plates, Rotary's focus on the resurgence of polio and the availability of IRON LUNG LAGER to support Polio Plus.
On another note - dictionaries are arriving tomorrow and will be labeled at Dave's house on Sunday October 6 in the afternoon.

MADE TO SERVE, MADE TO LAST
August 27, 2024 - Steve Trimble, a Rotarian in the Tempe Downtown Club and a Professor of Practice in mechanical and aerospace engineering at Arizona State University, gave us an overview of many of the projects he has worked on - an impressive list indeed. He told us about the Order of the Iron Ring which was originally a Canadian organization.  He wrote a book of poems dealing with engineering entitled "Made to Serve, Made to Last: Poems and Thoughts of an Engineer". He read us a few of his poems before answering many questions from a very interested audience.
NEW MEMBER STEVE
August 12, 2024 - Doug (filling in for Dave) presented new member Steve with his permanent badge.  Welcome Steve!
