Several members of the Kyrene Rotary club participated in the " A World in Motion" ( AWIM) project with Kyrene del Pueblo Middle School over the past nine weeks. The eighth grade students completed the Motorized Toy Car project on Friday, March 3. A second project will begin on March 24 and the AWIM - Rotary volunteers are looking forward to it. March 11, 2017 - Many volunteers from several East Valley clubs participated in this quarterly multi-club project. Today we sorted and packed more than 10,000 pounds of food. This means that each volunteer helped provide about 170 meals for needy families in the Valley. Our Kyrene club had a good turnout of members and family. We look forward to the next project in mid-June.
