Several members of the Kyrene Rotary club began a new session of the " A World in Motion" ( AWIM) project with Kyrene del Pueblo Middle School on Friday March 24. The eighth grade students will complete the Motorized Toy Car project in early May.  Here is the basic kit used by the students to build the motorized toy car. April 7, 2017 - Club members and friends met for a weekly session with 8th grade students from Kyrene del Pueblo to work on the AWIM (A World in Motion) project. This was the third week in the "Motorized Toy Car" project - the students were learning about compound gear ratios.
March 27,2017 - Robert and Chris gave us a slide presentation that described the latest plans for a multi-use path project in Tempe which will link to paths in Phoenix, Guadalupe, and Chandler. Tempe has secured inititial funding and hopes to receive bids and begin construction in January 2018 with an 8 month completion. The design of all the elements involved is impressive. This will be a great addition to the Tempe infrastructure. .png)
