Several members of the Kyrene Rotary club began a new session of the " A World in Motion" ( AWIM) project with Kyrene del Pueblo Middle School on Friday March 24. The eighth grade students will complete the Motorized Toy Car project in early May.  Here is the basic kit used by the students to build the motorized toy car. March 27,2017 - Robert and Chris gave us a slide presentation that described the latest plans for a multi-use path project in Tempe which will link to paths in Phoenix, Guadalupe, and Chandler. Tempe has secured inititial funding and hopes to receive bids and begin construction in January 2018 with an 8 month completion. The design of all the elements involved is impressive. This will be a great addition to the Tempe infrastructure.

March 11, 2017 - Many volunteers from several East Valley clubs participated in this quarterly multi-club project. Today we sorted and packed more than 10,000 pounds of food. This means that each volunteer helped provide about 170 meals for needy families in the Valley. Our Kyrene club had a good turnout of members and family. We look forward to the next project in mid-June.
