 March 20, 2017 - Jeff Ellington, President and COO of Runbeck Election Services, gave us an overview of his company and the industry. His company has existed since 1942 but began a growth spurt in 2006. The company was judged as one of the best companies for employees. They have good management practices and focus on training, development, and safety. Jeff told us of the current sophisticated ballot producing and counting processes. Many counties are now using print-on-demand ballots at polling stations. His company has been very successful at coping with the extremely cyclical nature of the print-balloting business.
