July 16, 2018 - Club member, Lynette, told the club about her 25 years of experience as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher.  She began her career with IBM and decided she preferred teaching ESL.  Her degrees are in Rhetoric and Linguistics and she has specialized in Language Acquisition. She had taught in several schools before joining the ASU faculty. She teaches ESL 107 and 108 but adds 109 for students who want to socialize and practice with her. She establishes strong relationships with her students and has visited them all over the world. Lynette clearly loves teaching ESL and loves her students.  She is a great asset for ASU,  her students and Rotary.  Keep up the good work Lynette.
