February 18, 2019 - Danny Abril is an attorney practicing juvenile law in Maricopa county since 2006. Danny explained the process involved in dependency cases. People involved with children, such as teachers and doctors are mandatory reporters if they suspect child abuse. Removing a child from a home can be complicated depending on the severity of the abuse. The ultimate goal is to return children to their families when it is deemed safe to do so.
