February 10, 2020 - Brenda Smull, a volunteer with the Better Angels organization gave us very good overview.Brenda is a security professional with Charles Schwab and has served in the Military. She explained that Better Angels was created in 2016 with the overall goal of depolarizing America. They hold workshops all across the country and 3 have been held in the Phoenix area. Better Angels creates groups of citizens (called Alliances) who get trained in specific procedures. The Alliances sponsor workshops and debates; hold in depth discussions about policy issues; and encourage discussion members to socialize with each other in various settings. Brenda's presentation generated much discussion.
